Those Yes remasters - are they better than the previous remasters

For the Yes-fans out there (I know there are quite some on ILM): I have the mid 90s Atlantic remasters of most of the Yes-albums, but picked up "Drama" and "90125" as I only had burned CDs based on downloads of those two.

Anyway, I am considering whether to go for the remasters of the rest of their 70s albums as well, and I wonder if there is any obvious improvement in sound quality. I mean, obviously, the liner notes are better in the Rhino edition (it's Rhino after all), but is the sound considerably better?

Anyone able to answer this?

i have 90125 but the 70's were very different weren't they ?

"90125" is kind of different, yet. "Changes" and "It Can Happen" are somewhat like what they used to be in the 70s :)

I don't see how they could have improved on the mid-'90s remaster of The Yes Album - don't have the newest version of Tales... but the mid-'90s version I own is a tad murky, so the latest remaster should be some kind of improvement.

I have mid-90s versions of everything from Fragile through Relayer, but those are bracketed by newer versions of The Yes Album and Going For The One. I can't hear any appreciable difference.

the new tales remaster has the full intro to the album the old remaster had some weird cut off point that started right on the first lyric

Sounds like the "Tales" remaster is worth getting then at least.
