Jose padilla is a native ibizan who is most famous for his chill-out dj setz at the Cafe Del Mar, he is the dj that made this place popular in Ibiza, He has compiled about 5 of the cafe del mar compilation series and has also produced to albums of his own stuff, Souvenir & Navigator, he has recorded to essential mixez and hasn't done any other mixes for quite a while i think he is not cafe del mat resident any more but been replaced by Bruno Leptre, Jose playz all kinds of stuff from rock to deep house in true "balearic" mode!! jose is a god to me and my freinds,we first heard him in 1989 in ibiza at del mar!! he's had 2 solo albums out so far,1 called navigator and i can't remeber the other becuase i'm pissed at the moment but if you reply i'll root out the other album name and pass it on. besides his solo work(he only started doing his own about2-3 yrs ago) he's contributed to six off the cafe' del mar sieres. i've got several tapes from del mar,which i procured while i was on the island in the years of 89.90,92 and 94,i've also got jose's essential mix from radio 1 from a few years ago. if you need any of these i'll send em' to you. basher
