Does any band log more tour miles than The Wailers?

I've lived in six different states in the last 15 years -- big cities and small towns -- and The Wailers have rocked them all. How do they do it? Is this band a franchise where you can license the name or something? Anyone actually seen these guys?

My guess is it's a band with heavy turnover.

I guess it centers around Aston "Familyman" Barrett.

i think they all live in the states by now. for real. all these guys live in westchester county, new york or new jersey somewhere. so, they are like any other hard-touring u.s. act. they get on the bus and hit the college towns. they ALL play martha's vineyard in the summer.

seventeen years pass...

The Original Wailers are on tour, I see. This is guitarist Al Anderson and a bunch of young'ns.

I guess there is a "The Wailers" also touring, led by Aston Barrett's son ... not the Familyman, but Aston Jr.

Is there a third Wailers out there?

Honestly, all I really want to know is which current Wailers-ish entity is the best / most credible / least embarrassing.

Is that the same Al Anderson that went to high school with Richard Lloyd in Montclair?

Wikipedia says he's from Montclair and went to Montclair High School, so ... probably?
