From the account of Wojanrowicz's onstage tape-play given in the new PBS documentary Imagining America: Icons of 20th Century American Art, it seems that 3TK4 should be more canonical than they are. Or at least as ripe for reissue and rediscovery as Y-Pants or Grey. did they just have crappy timing, coming too late to catch the coattails of the NNY wave and DAM?

stevie wrote it but never recorded it, as far as i know. he gave it to rufus, who turned it into a pop hit. did 3TK4 use a talkbox?
