Hey, anyone know anything about this guy? I just heard an unbelievable guitar version of "Strawberry Fields Forever" by him on the CBC jazz programme. (Apparently this comes from a 1995 disc called Come Together: Guitar Tribute to the Beatles Vol 2 produced and 'presented' by Mike Mainieri.) It was reminiscent of the best aspects of Lenny Breau, the simultaneously virtuosic and delicate rippling notes layered over each other. He managed to pull off a lot of the different lines and even had an interesting take on the noise section at the end of the song. I looked him up on Google and sure enough, he worked with LB as well as Chet Atkins. Apparently he uses a Guitarp, a 17-string guitar with 7 guitar strings + 10 'harp' strings.
