Does this happen to anyone else? My computer is operating in an 'optimum' way according to a recent checkup. But if I click on too many things, the hourglass pops up and then it eventually freeze with a 'Not Responding' - what's the deal?

Nope, don't have that problem but I hear you can't open too many windows because it freaks her out.

It might be a firewall issue. I was using a version of ZoneAlarm5 and had to downgrade to ZA4 in order to stop this from happening. That was about a year and a half ago, but more recent versions of slsk can still lock up other internet connections if ZA is running. Some firewalls don't cooperate with p2p programs so try searching the slsk forums to see if this is true for yours, or just turning off your firewall for a bit and see what happens.

or just *try* turning off your firewall for a bit and see what happens.
