Here's an article about The Fall...http://www.guardian.co.uk/arts/features/story/0,11710,1678307,00.htmlIt's nice to read about all those great band members and see that they mostly seem to have got through their dealings with Mr M.E. Smith unscathed.
But where is Karl Burns?

it's a thoroughly enjoyable piece, that. it doesn't work quite so well on the web because it's missing all the pictures and amusing quotes from the former members.
i was at the gig on calton hill in edinburgh in 1994 (i think) when brix and karl burns rejoined. about 10 minutes into the set, MES chinned KB. you could not make this shit up.

Was surprised to discover that KB has reappeared at long last to collaborate with his former bandmates...
HOUSE Of ALL: Interview – Martin Bramah discusses the band’s heavenly third album
So Karl got in touch when it came out, which was when I did the interview, and we started corresponding via email, because we’re known each other since we were about thirteen. Then, when we did the third album, I invited him to come and do it. He’s not changed at all, apart from the fact he’s now tee total, drug-free, doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, and he’s really healthy – he’s nearly as old as me. Everyone thought he’d be dead me, but he’s strong, fit and healthy and plays drums an hour a day in his bedroom to keep fit. But he didn’t want to just jam with any old band, because he’s got standards.
