Yawn (Wintermute), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 02:41 (twenty years ago)

In the "The most psychedelic House release".

elgolfo (elgolfo), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 02:44 (twenty years ago)

If the mp3 samples are anything to go by, this is boring shite.

Mr. Snrub (Mr. Snrub), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 02:51 (twenty years ago)

I mean, you said "psychedelic", so I expected like really loud guitar hammer-ons and crazy LSD lyrics and shit.

Mr. Snrub (Mr. Snrub), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 02:52 (twenty years ago)

I'm so sick of those little micro-snare rolls in minimal techno. I think people mostly like them because they sound like taking big bubbling bong-rips.

tylero (tylero), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 03:17 (twenty years ago)

Clubbers certainly referred some microhouse tweaks to the way things sound after inhaling laughing gas.

blunt (blunt), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 03:21 (twenty years ago)

not that I have anything against bong-rips mind you. :^0 ===='0

tylero (tylero), Tuesday, 10 January 2006 03:38 (twenty years ago)

I'd like to hear it.

adamrl (nordicskilla), Thursday, 12 January 2006 16:59 (twenty years ago)

I have heard it now. It's really good, actually.

I'm not knockin' it, but can someone who really digs this explain *where* you listen to it & under what conditions it brings you pleasure/excitement? Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

DAVE's secret to fortu-Oh look! Shiny! (dave225.3), Wednesday, 26 July 2006 13:53 (twenty years ago)

.. sorry, I mean like - headphones on subway/bike, super motherfucker PA system in living room taking drugs, cheap-ass boombox while painting the kitchen, .....

DAVE's secret to fortu-Oh look! Shiny! (dave225.3), Wednesday, 26 July 2006 13:55 (twenty years ago)

in the bathtub, dude

ferzaffe (flezaffe), Wednesday, 26 July 2006 14:09 (twenty years ago)

good music can be enjoyed anywhere!

Konal Doddz (blueski), Wednesday, 26 July 2006 14:50 (twenty years ago)

well, see - I'm not really getting much out of it. So I thought maybe the environment and/or sound system may have some influence.

DAVE's secret to fortu-Oh look! Shiny! (dave225.3), Wednesday, 26 July 2006 17:37 (twenty years ago)

i dunno, im listening to Peels and Subtle Slug stone sober over a not-quite-so-kickass stereo hooked up to my mac right now and i think it all sounds really fucking great. im probably just retarded.

ferzaffe (flezaffe), Wednesday, 26 July 2006 18:24 (twenty years ago)

Yeah Fez the Miskate release is amazing. A Day In The Life Of Us is wonderful too. I just now discovered that Miskate is a she, and she's apparently on a roll this year, this being her 4th or 5th 12" this year. I'm sure you've heard the Alphahouse record too.

Jena (JenaP), Thursday, 27 July 2006 03:35 (twenty years ago)

i have indeed, and the b-side is like whoa
