I was impressed by Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath's performance on Rock n' Roll Jeopardy, and he seems like a pretty alright guy despite making some of the world's worst music.

Morphine. Utterly cool band, great concept, great sound, but over four full studio albums they probably had 5-6 actually great tracks, at least 3 of which were on the first CD.
