I was reading article about Nevermind on Wiki
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevermind )

For song Endless Nameless, credit also titles Subramanyam. Does anyone know who that guy is?

This is the first time I've ever seen that name crop up in the credits for that song.

Normal people don't like "Endless Nameless." I've never been normal though.

it's one of my favorite songs on that album.

Christopher Costello (CGC), Friday, 13 January 2006 05:35 (twenty years ago)

Right... Verse Chorus Verse is the NA hidden track.
It wasn't on my version of Nevermind and took me a couple years to track down, and then it really wasn't worth it...

Whole album's kinda dated now though...

js (honestengine), Friday, 13 January 2006 05:37 (twenty years ago)

this just in(sort of) the NA track that we have all known and loved for so long is not actually "verse chorus verse", it's "sappy". verse chorus verse is actually an out take from nevermind that has recently been released(sort of recently)on the box set,and is also an excellent track.as for nevermind sounding dated, well my problem has always been about nevermind being overplayed, to the point of never wanting to hear it again!but I know that it must still hold up, I'll just have to check in another ten years! just name one band who has even come close to picking up where nirvana left off, there has'nt been any, music si at an all time low!

xgurggleglgllg (xgurggleglgllg), Friday, 13 January 2006 06:27 (twenty years ago)

I mean music IS at an all time low!

xgurggleglgllg (xgurggleglgllg), Friday, 13 January 2006 06:29 (twenty years ago)

well at least "rock" music is. I can't really speak for ALL music now. but really nothing is really "new" sounding...

xgurggleglgllg (xgurggleglgllg), Friday, 13 January 2006 06:31 (twenty years ago)

js: If it's not on your CD version of "Nevermind", you have a rarity, which may or may not be worth putting on e-bay.

If it's not on your LP version, as you were.

I see no Subramanyam there, but the name in the credits does seem to ring a bell...

Flower King of Flies (noodle vague), Friday, 13 January 2006 10:23 (twenty years ago)

xgurggleglgllg (xgurggleglgllg), Friday, 13 January 2006 10:41 (twenty years ago)

I guess the tuneful bit in the middle was written by...

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 13 January 2006 10:43 (twenty years ago)
