This message appears in massive bold type in the back of the current NME, with a mobile phone number underneath. no other text. i don't know about you, but they don't appear to be asking for a hip new guitar player with all the talent and an attitude of 'a' Mick Ronno, they actually seem to want MICK RONSON.

well as the 'erm...' inferred in my post, ronno is indeed an ex- glamgod. his last album was called 'from heaven to hull', kind've poignant in that he knew he was dying and he was, hurray, from hull.

but kind of a tedious pun to those of us who are from hull, a city whose only publicity revolves around tedious puns.
