ysi?

I've heard 'Back Like That', pretty good. i'm sure this is gonna be awesome again.

but cuban linx II will rule everything this year (wishful thinking)

rizzx (rizzx), Friday, 13 January 2006 13:34 (nineteen years ago)

5 produced by Doom and none produced by RZA?

Some Guy, Friday, 13 January 2006 13:57 (nineteen years ago)

lol@cuban linx 2 ruling everything this year. as if. raekwon has been washed up for years.
i hope ghost doesnt do his borderline cry baby style of rapping anymore.

ok, Friday, 13 January 2006 14:01 (nineteen years ago)

mark my words unfaithful one. washed up schmashed ip. when he's ready, he's gonna crush (wishful thinking)

rizzx (rizzx), Friday, 13 January 2006 14:08 (nineteen years ago)

"Be Easy" is fantastically mediocre.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 13 January 2006 14:17 (nineteen years ago)

That "3 bricks" track with Biggie is just his first verse from "niggaz bleed" + Ghost & Rae verses + eerie piano sample. It's alright.

Lewis Parker ? Studio Steve ? Crack Val ? The fuck are these lowlife nobodies ? Shouldn't Ghostface be getting beats from Just Blaze and Kanye now he's on Def Jam ?

ELLI$ HARVELL, Friday, 13 January 2006 14:35 (nineteen years ago)

MF Doom doing beats for Ghostface would've been good in '99 when 'Doom was on that Ron G blends tape-meets-RZA type shit but he's been Nate Patrin-ized for the last 5 years or so.

Jaydee has been boring for nearly 10 years and was never that great to begin with.

Not sure about Pete Rock. "Be easy" isn't too good but "soul survivor 2" had some nice beats on there like th C.L Smooth track, "beef" by Krumbsnatcha and the "truth is" track over the wah-wah geetar sample.

ELLI$ HARVELL, Friday, 13 January 2006 14:51 (nineteen years ago)

otm about "be easy", that line about eBay is lame. i really like "kilos" though.

HAKKEBOFFER (eman), Friday, 13 January 2006 14:56 (nineteen years ago)

lewis parker is a fucking excellent producer. he shd have been producing ghost years back.

okok, Friday, 13 January 2006 15:31 (nineteen years ago)

Holy shit, I didn't see that! Lewis Parker's producing records Stateside now? Fuck me. Harry Love must be furious.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 13 January 2006 15:37 (nineteen years ago)

Is this the same Lewis Parker that released downtempo stuff on Massive Attack's Melankolic imprint?

telephone thing, Friday, 13 January 2006 15:54 (nineteen years ago)

yeah thats him.

forget harry love though, funky dl must be furious. then again he did do a song with showbiz and ag so maybe not.

Unfortunately every Ghost album is about diminishing returns...possibly the only Wu member who has made a better album that his first solo is RZA (with Birth of a Prince).

paulhw (paulhw), Friday, 13 January 2006 17:34 (nineteen years ago)

You kidding me? Supreme Clientele was tight.

LoneNut, Saturday, 14 January 2006 06:16 (nineteen years ago)

Birth of a Prince has some good shit on it, I forgot about that album. "Fast Cars." Um but yeah Ghost's definitely done better shit since Ironman.

Pete Rock's beat on that Northern State album was good. Too bad Northern State are not good. (/xhuxk baiting)

deej.. (deej..), Saturday, 14 January 2006 20:33 (nineteen years ago)

I've heard "Be Easy" (mediocre) & "Kilos" (more fiyah!). Is "Kilos" the b-side to "Be Easy"? I'm pretty excited for this, but I hate Dilla and I'm not happy with that.

What's with this "Bricks feat. Biggie and Raekwon"? Didn't they, like, hate each other and stuff?
