What kind of pedals do the Black Dice use?

Google searched variations on "pedals and 'black dice'" to no end and found NOTHING. Except that Bjorn uses a Korg Kaos Pad 2, and I saw him use an ebow a lot, but I don't think that's it.

Anyways, I'm curious.

They used a lot of prerecorded MDs last time I checked them out, which kinda bummed me on them.

They had their gear in boxes so you couldn't see.

some details (I will never understand it all): the suitcase Bjorn patches his guitar through is a custom made sequencer / filter bank designed by Gavin Russom. They no longer use a Kaos pad. Eric Copeland does use a mini disc and many effects / pedals. They also use samplers, electronic percussion and 2 mackie mixers used to process each others sounds in combination with their own. It is a pretty intricate and unique set up. Fluctuating volume and live mixing based on sounds they send each other is a major part of their live show as well.

Yes. It was amazing. One of the best sets I have ever seen them play, honestly. It really flowed really so nicely, one solid hour long jam consisting of most of Broken Ear Record and 2 tracks off of a brand new DFA 12" entitled "Monoman". the visuals were quite good and creepy as well, especially the loops of that roller skating girl covered in blood or something, it was really really out there. My opinion might seem slightly biased but I am actually their toughest critic. Honest!

grumble. would have trekked over there had I gotten my act together.

I have seen two or three BD shows that just bored me to tears, and two epic shows (Swiss Institute + Anthology Film Archives) that were just incredible. Figures it would be a good show at an unusual venue.
