Juelz Santana - What the Game's Been Missing!

The new single (Oh Yes) is my shit lately. I'm thinking I might have to get this album -- There it Go, Mic Check, etc. How's the rest of it? I notice it runs 22 tracks so it's hard for me to believe it's the kind of album I could do in one sitting or that it's actually good all the way through, -- I can't think of a hip-hop album that long that is.

I'll tell you what the game's been missing: exclamation points!

I begged them to use a semi-colon but evidently nobody at Def Jam studied Greek

It's all pretty good, but definitely far too long.

There are five or so good tracks, a bunch of mediocre ones and some that slot in between. On the other hand Juelz is one-dimensional and kinda boring. Do not buy. Just download "Clockwork."

no deej! 7 awesome tracks:
Rumble Young Man Rumble
Oh Yes
Clockwork
Lil Boy Fresh
Murda Murda
Violence
Mic Check

but yeah a bunch of inbetween

The digipak with the pop-up cardboard Juelz is fucking awesome. The album was a little bit of a let down after the packagaing.

Other than the odd track here and there Dipset fell off after "diplomatic immunity".

This cd is wack. Juelz rhymin' over fifth rate, cheap soundin' versions of "grindin'" and "drop it like it's hot" by Neptunes wannabe producers for the most part = zzzzzzzz.

His song with L.L is a little better, but the b side on that new L.L 12" "what they want" with Freeway is bananas.

one month passes...
Still didn't bother to pick up the album, but I finally heard Clockwork and it's definitely hot. Juelz isn't a great rapper -- he basically has one trick up his sleeve, which is repitition, but he uses it pretty effectively to create catchy songs.
