Mr. Bejar, you owe the swear jar all the singles in your pocket.

or all those 'fuck's are just there to elevate the passion

anyways who else thinks Rubies is his best solo output yet?
i think because it gets to the point of the album, unlike Your Blues which sorta wanders around and loses my interest

love it, but don't really know the previous albums very well...is Your Blues the one to beat?

dude, check out that other rubies thread. you have NO IDEA what people on ilm think of that album. it's like a moonie wedding on that thing.

i've seen the other thread and I fear that I may catch an STD from all the body fluids being flung around it, I like the album but not nearly that much

Streethawk is probably the consensus pick

Your Blues and This Night seem to be more divisive

the infamous other thread.

I was obsessed for a good couple of years with Bejar's stuff. Though I haven't heard the new album (and also don't really care all that much), my opinion of the other albums is as follows:
1. City of Daughters
2. Thief
3. This Night
4. Streethawk
5. Your Blues

Streethawk is his most overrated work. It's kind of boring, really.
