Love Is Like Oxygen

not the most popular choice to be sure, but the one that is constantly on rotation in my head.

william harris (drone/a/sore), Saturday, 4 February 2006 18:09 (nineteen years ago)

Love Is Like Oxygen is great, think they had a bit of a resurgance with that and Fox On The Run. The production on both sounds strange part ELO/ part Spector.

JohnFoxxsJuno (JohnFoxxsJuno), Saturday, 4 February 2006 18:22 (nineteen years ago)

"Love is Like Oxygen" every time.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 4 February 2006 18:25 (nineteen years ago)

Definitely "Ballroom Blitz."

xero (xero), Saturday, 4 February 2006 18:41 (nineteen years ago)

I don't know any of their albums but I really think "Fox On the Run" is one of the greatest anthemic pop-rock songs ever.

Sundar (sundar), Saturday, 4 February 2006 18:43 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, probably "Fox on the Run" for me.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Saturday, 4 February 2006 19:12 (nineteen years ago)

Dammit, this is really tough.

Anyone know if "Strung Up" has been reissued? Possibly under a different title?

drinkin a carton of peace juice (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Saturday, 24 April 2010 19:42 (fifteen years ago)

I'm mostly interested in the live stuff, I think the studio stuff is mostly included on other albums as bonus tracks?

drinkin a carton of peace juice (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Saturday, 24 April 2010 19:45 (fifteen years ago)

Oh, okay, Live at the Rainbow 1973. Nevermind.

"Chop Chop"!

t**t, Sunday, 25 April 2010 21:39 (fifteen years ago)

OK, yeah... probably 'Fox On the Run.'

but I would like to give some love to '4th of July' from Give Us A Wink. I've always liked that one quite a lot.

ImprovSpirit, Monday, 26 April 2010 20:13 (fifteen years ago)

Love is Like Oxygen. I went on a skool trip to Italy in the late 70s and there were only 2 English tracks on the hotel jukebox. This song, and Ian Dury's Sex and Drugs and Rock n Roll. Must've heard both about 100 times.
