whats the story with this defunct band, I know that they broke up but whats their story?

Thom Yorkes brothers band. Sort of shit stuff although oddly they were Coldplay with a bit more bite before Coldplay ever came along. They split up to go and do charity work in Russia. That's the skinny.

I saw them open for Tori Amos (um, old girlfriend made me go) and boy were they bad. I can't think of a single good thing to say about them except for maybe WOOHOO re: breakup... avoid at all costs. Make Coldplay sound like... like something listenable.

They were 1) hyped 2) tuneless and 3) mediocre. But they tried goddamnit!

Just listened to the debut "Almost Here" for the first time in ages, used to really like it.
