I was listening to the Nathan Fake album thinking, this is great modern electronic psychedelic music.
I think Gas is too and to an extent basic channel.
Please tell me more.
Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa's second album is definatly up there for me as well.

is the nathan fake album out now?

Can I second a request for this kind of information? That other thread doesn't seem completely appropriate for just spazzed out electronic lushness.
Nathan Fake has leaked but is not commercially available I think?

That www.pandora.com link is the lamest thing I have ever seen, thanks for trying to help but it actually has none of the artists listed on it. At all.

I'm now going to sign up for this site so I can winge more freely.

But please, any recommendations would be great. I just thought of that great Skylab album too: 1999 "Large As Life And Twice As Natural" .

Cheers. Doesn't he make crazy cheesy goa trance though?

Nathan Fake isn't psychedelic. It's nĂ¼-EZ Listening.

glad to see i aint the only one who loves this album.
got slated upon release (Q magazine i think), but the review was way off the mark.
so, now that matty skylab has resurfaced and put together a new mixtape of french based pop/psych/60s weirdness and a ton of movie samples, skylab styled extras, you can just imagine how wonderful the end results are

I was thinking the other day about how wonderful it would be to have an electronic album that takes its queues from weirdy Sixites psychedelic albums. Then I remembered chillwave...

Thing is, no one's done it right yet.
