Pick Only X (Ten)

You eeediot, Tuesday, 7 February 2006 20:14 (nineteen years ago)

Here's mine...

Ozzy Osbourne - includes Black Sabbath
Frank Zappa - includes Mothers
Jerry Garcia - includes Grateful Dead, LOM, etc.
Rolling Stones
Beatles
Buckethead - includes everything he ever worked on
Bill Laswell - includes everything he ever worked on
Helios Creed - includes Chrome
Trey Anastasio - includes Phish, etc.
Buddy Guy - includes all performances with other blues guys

All of these include all bootlegs, so that should be enough hours of music to last me for life with enough variety to keep me mostly happy. It kills me that I could never hear Led Zeppelin again, but Phish, Buckethead and Zappa all do covers.

I would never ever be willing to try this but:

Genesis including solo material (Peter's mainly)
Depeche Mode
XTC
The Beatles including solo material
Neil Finn in general
David Bowie
Yes
10cc
Super Furry Animals
Frank Zappa

Zappa isn't really among my favourite acts, but he has released lots and lots of records, plus they are kind of "difficult", not too accesible at first listen, and I would discover something new with each listen.

I don't know a whole lot of Dave Brubeck, but what I do know is sublime, and there are like a hundred albums or so, including classical as well as jazz. I'd want something new to discover.

Cheo Feliciano
Stelios Kazantzidis
