in response to the original question, you can choose which ports to use in slsk and bittorrent with a little know-how. there are also bittorrent clients that encrypt all of their packets to escape filtering. this is a weak solution because your administration is probably going to notice the massive amounts of unparseable data moving between you and diverse range of ip addresses simultaneously. if they are conscientious enough to filter packets they can also write a script to filter random data. more from bram cohen:ihttp://bramcohen.livejournal.com/29886.html
