Anyone else heard it yet?
I'm absolutely in love with it. Especially the tracks "Sunbeams" (the intro is stolen from Dylan's "Mississippi") and the single "Chosen One"

I liked their previous one better.

Is it all Lee Hazelwood's fault if swedish people like to pretend they are cowboys ?

I wanted to like it, but the truth is I haven't been so disappointed by a follow up to an album that I enjoyed in a long time.

maybe it's just me,but it sounds generic. agreed on the disappointment.

It's just one of those things where the songs don't really click and the warmth and vibe that I liked on the first record is almost entirely gone. There's just a spark missing. It's not awful music so much as it is a non-starter.

the concretes. yet an example of a band who made ONE good song and failed to do so in the hundred other attempts.

am I alone in liking Layyourbattleaxedown a little better than the first album one?

two months pass...
Pretty bad album that probably is bad enough to not deserve a random late thread bump, but I'm really feeling the track "Fiction." Gets kind of lost in the middle maybe.
