,,, Thursday, 9 February 2006 19:47 (nineteen years ago)

Shabaam Sahdeeq had joints.

ETHAN FAGGETT, Thursday, 9 February 2006 19:53 (nineteen years ago)

i got his album from 00 or 01 & that has to be 1 of the worst records i ever heard

True that did suck but "are you ready", "arabian nights" and "every rhyme i write" were dope.

Albums are for faggots anyway.

ETHAN FAGGETT, Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:02 (nineteen years ago)

he did some shit for the whiteboy who had "no more prisons" too

arabian nights is a classic

The double 12" on guesswhyld is a lost classic. Some great songs on there. "Scene" and "Basickly" and I think one of the "High Drama"'s is on there with Mos Def. It's been a while though.

Zoot got a few nice beats by EZ Elpee, Buckwild, Showbiz and Ayatollah in his time

ETHAN FAGGETT, Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:17 (nineteen years ago)

hahaha remember after dude left rawkus he kept dissing mos for not showing up to his studio sessions & tryna be in movies & shit

,,, Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:18 (nineteen years ago)

Spinna & Shawn J before they got boring.

mcd (mcd), Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:23 (nineteen years ago)

back then spinna was responsible for classic material

,,, Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:23 (nineteen years ago)

,,, Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:24 (nineteen years ago)

That's Shabaam Saadiq, right? on Nervous?

mcd (mcd), Thursday, 9 February 2006 20:31 (nineteen years ago)

Sadeeq I mean. Or the L-Fudge 12" on Rawkus with Mike Zoot & Shabam Sadeeq "What If". "What if '87 never happened..." Whatever happened to L-Fudge?

"Motion 2000" by Polyrhythm Addicts was a good track. "In the air" by IG Off & Hazardous and "7xl" by Menelik,'Puba + Datty X were the shit too (the only good joint he did as Menelik) but Spiina was overrated. Most of the stuff on his label like Jigmastas was boring.

Screwball, Black Attack/Missin' Linx, Godfather Don was my sorta shit indie-rap wise.

Where the fuck is Tony Bones? He could house the Streets.

mcd (mcd), Thursday, 9 February 2006 21:27 (nineteen years ago)

MR COMPLEX

jhoshea (scoopsnoodle), Thursday, 9 February 2006 21:29 (nineteen years ago)

I think Mr. Complex was in Polyrhythm Addicts, right? With Apani B Fly Emcee or whatever her name was. Those records were terrible.

mcd (mcd), Thursday, 9 February 2006 21:39 (nineteen years ago)

"Motion 2000" was one of my least favorite tracks on that polyrhythm addicts album.

oops (Oops), Thursday, 9 February 2006 23:42 (nineteen years ago)

They made a whole album? Whoa.
