Song title help....from the 70's

I remember hearing a song, probably in the mid seventies, that I am trying to find the title to. It was a "Harry Chapin" type of song, in that I mean that it told a story, kind of in his "Cats in the Cradle" mold. It was about an old Organ Grinder guy, working on the street, and his monkey, and it was kinda sad. Does anybody else remember this, and if so, do you know the title?
