Modern Containment Series on Three Lobed Recordings

MODERN CONTAINMENT - someone convinced us that it would be a good idea
to go and run a second subscription cd series along the same lines as
our old purposeful availment series. well, we sniffed around and found
eight fantastic artists who were interested in joining in on the fun.
we're happy to announce that the "modern containment" cd series will
contain eight cd eps (around 25 minutes or longer each) of
new/exclusive material. the artists are -
bardo pond
hush arbors
kinski
mirror/dash (thurston moore & kim gordon)
sun city girls
sunburned hand of the man
matt valentine & erika elder
wooden wand and the omen bones band
we're excited about this one, that's for sure. subscribers will
receive the discs mailed out in pairs starting in the summer of 2006
and will also receive a silkscreened slipcase to hold the series before
the mailings are complete. there will only be 550 subscriptions
available for sale and three lobed will not be selling any of the discs
from this series individually (although each artist will have copies of
their respective discs available in whatever way they personally see
fit). we will begin accepting subscriptions on february 1, 2006. $75
will be the cost for domestic US subscribers and $85 will be the cost
for discs going to all non-US locations.
