Is there any sort of connection between Dorando (Darondo?)'s "Didn't I" and "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)" by The Delfonics?

Yeah, it's Darondo; two different songs, though he may well have been inspired by the Delfonics (hey, it worked for the Fuzz).

That full-length (well, 9 song) Darondo CD on Ubiquity is perhaps the best thing ever.
