Has anyone heard it? Anyone have it? An old professor of mine says it's absolute genious, but he lost his copy or something and it's way out of print. Apparently Schaubroeck himself doesn't have any copies. That sounds suspect to me, but either way, I haven't been able to get my hands on it.

Steals is obviously the masterpiece, but yeah, this is a good one. haha "Pre-Teen Mama" -- I haven't listened to this album in 10 years but that's the track that stands out.

CLASSIC. One of the most amazing covers ever and a sound like Foetus trapped in the 70's with funky studio musicians.

There's a good overview on the Trouser Press website, reading about him in one of the old guides is what made me pick the album up. I've since found "I Came To Visit..." but have never seen any of the other albums.

i've never heard his music but i've always been curious. his store is such a trip (or was, i haven't been there for years), everything piled on top of everything else. armand was always around somewhere, looking like he just rolled out of bed or out of the gutter or something, consorting with one or another of his freakazoid minions.

Hi all, new here, Someone who visited my blog just sent me a copy of Ratfucker (..here is the copy he gave me - http://rapidshare.de/files/21297549/ASS_RF.rar.html), thinking I would like it. And I love it! The quality says 192, but it seems really quiet. Was wondering if this is how every copy sounds? Would also really, really appreciate re-uploads of the other 2 Arthur albums if anyone has some spare time. Thanks for any help

A new Armand Schaubroeck release for RSD!

It is the first release from our label owner’s band, Armand Schaubroeck Steals, in over 30 years!
The release is a 10″ single for his song “God Made The Blues To Kill Me!” This release will be limited to 750 copies worldwide and also includes a CD, postcard, and limited ed. guitar pick! Will include a special mix of the song on the B-side that will be exclusive to this release! The single will be promoting his upcoming full length LP.
Armand Schaubroeck Steals has been praised by Julian Cope, of Teardrop Explodes, in his latest book, Copendium: The Expedition into the Rock n’ Roll Underworld and even has a chapter dedicated to the band. A song of Armand’s was even included on the soundtrack to the book.
