rufus is trying to piss me off by saying that kitchens of distinction sound like the wiggles.

he knows i hate the wiggles. okay, maybe he's not TRYING to piss me off, but he keeps repeating it: "Dad, they sound like the wiggles." "Dad, they sound like the wiggles." I better not think about those unhealthy looking doofuses every time i put on love is hell.

I will play KoD to Hannah tomorrow, she's got big love for the Wiggles.

Can't hear it myself tho.

Hahahah. I love me Rufus. Tell him I like both bands but that I am unsure as to their similarities.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 01:40 (nineteen years ago)

maybe it's in the accents somewhere.

scott seward (scott seward), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 01:41 (nineteen years ago)

Now I've got the Wiggles doing "Hammer" stuck in my head. It is not good.

Abu Hamster (noodle vague), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 01:42 (nineteen years ago)

I'm imagining Captain Feathersword acting out the "Last fatal FUCK!" part.

i only know this stuff from re-racking the kidz section at the old job. i dont know what the wiggles actually sound like. i guess they sound like kitchens of distinction.

ham'ron (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 02:39 (nineteen years ago)

I've trucked through a few Wiggles DVDs, and found them
to be oddly enjoyable. Not for the music; it was mostly
mostly just generic blues-rock-by-numbers, the kind found
on countless children's programs.
For a non-children's-TV comparison, think _The Blues
Brothers 2000_.
"Caveland" was the only song that sparked my interest a bit,
it seemed kind of unique.

Squirrel_Police (Squirrel_Police), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 02:47 (nineteen years ago)

to me, it just looks like they dragged the first guys they saw off the street and put them in a kidz show. they have zero charisma. i don't actually mind the songs or the hijinx. it's their faces that bug me!

scott seward (scott seward), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 02:54 (nineteen years ago)

they look like a brughel painting

ham'ron (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 02:55 (nineteen years ago)

ned it's kinda creepy that you like the wiggles

The only time I ever saw them was the birthday party of the young daughter of two friends of mine! And yet they're memorable souls.

Scott's rite, they're not exackly Barney in the Larger Than Life Rock Star Stakes.

Abu Hamster (noodle vague), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 03:09 (nineteen years ago)

My friend Marcia is the Wiggles accountant. She says they're very sweet. She says that about her other big client, too, though--J. Mascis.

Bushy Bushy Blond Hairdo (Arthur), Tuesday, 14 February 2006 04:25 (nineteen years ago)

I'm sure he's very sweet, since he doesn't do much of anything.
