one year passes...

This is actually a question about this year, but it didn't seem worth starting a new thread over. So the usual hotel (Colibri - or Victorin, as it's now called) is booked up, and I'm looking into the alternatives. Has anyone ever stayed at the CEGEP? The price and location are right, but I'm having trouble getting ahold of anyone at their phone number who I can communicate with about it (my French is practically nonexistent). I guess the alternative is the Z Plaza, which looks okay location-wise, but a bit pricier. Not sure what to do.

Yes, I did, but only for the weekend. Saw some good shows, especially the Kyoenjihyakkei. Also liked the Zorn solo, Carla Bozulich's Evangelista, Anthony Braxton Diamond Curtain Wall Trio, Magik Markers, and Larry Peacock.
