pwrbook speakers sound good with Jesus and Mary Chain and Swervedriver and lots of techno type stuff. Help me find good tunes w/o much bass at all, please? I am getting burnt out on what's on my hardrive.

try Lali Puna on Morr. also try the Putting The Morr back into Morrissey.

Saint Etienne works good on small speakers, Slowdive?

New Order - Technique or Joy Division - Peel Sessions

you probably need some external speakers a bit more. then you can listen to reggae and cook.

I might get one of those Airport Express things but until then I'm hurting here. Plus, if I cook with reggae playing in the background I might accidentally chop a fingertip off.

Debut album by Flying Saucer Attack. Also a good choice for going into high end audio stores for trying out their speakers.

so when Chuck D. said "BASS! how low can you go?" he wasn't talking about himself?
Terminator X would cry if he were at my apartment and heard that stuff coming out of that lil' tin box.

so when Chuck D. said "BASS! how low can you go?" he wasn't talking about himself?

Actually he was talking about freebase cocaine. "How low can you go," meaning spiritually and metally.

Also, MF Doom tracks are all very tinny and trebly.
