NYers: see the Punk/metal karaoke band at Continental tonite

I've played in this band for seven years, first at Arlene Grocery, then at the Continental for the past year. Tonite will be our final show at the latter club—which, of course, has seen better days and will discontinue live music in the fall.

i feel ambivalent about plugging this event here, cuz, i dunno, people hardly do that sort of thing here. but check out what xhukk (sp?) sayeth below…

The locals I’ve seen play live more than any other since my NY arrival, oddly, are this crack and witty unit backing up unknown drunks, comely and otherwise, attacking Misfits, Ratt, and Heart, not to mention Iron Maiden while I take my piss break. Sadly, tonight’s the last time they will ever grace the stage; if you die without having seen them once, you lose.
