"A cover of the song was the last majorly successful single by Liverpool-based pop group The Farm. It was released in late 1991, having been produced by Mark Saunders, who also produced The Cure and Erasure."

(according to this, that is)

I don't remember it, was just weird hearing it twice in 2 days. The first time i was half asleep and thought maybe i was having a bad dream.

The NME used to do charity/project albums, this one was to get a load of artists/bands to do covers of number one hits.

Tori Amos did "Ring my Bell"
EMF did "Shaddap ya face"
The Farm did "Don't you want me"

This used to go for a fair bit of money on e-bay due to the Tori Amos track being unavailable elsewhere.

It's a cruel world that jails David Irving whilst allowing The Farm to roam free.

where would i get emf ?

On the "Ruby Trax" Cd/LP set.

I don't know if it's expensive on e-bay due to EMF fans bidding up. I just know "friends of Tori" seem to have large amounts of disposable income, for some reason.
