Is he involved with film or music at all?

two months pass...
What was Rudolph Grey's name when he graduated High school in 1967 ?

Do you know?

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Saturday, 13 May 2006 00:13 (nineteen years ago)

Haha well i'm sure we would all like to know but ppl in these scenes do tend to simply disappear from the face of the earth...until they re-appear when you least expect 'em. So he'll be along in a minute, i'm sure.

I've still not bothered to track down his book on ed wood - have you read it?

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Saturday, 13 May 2006 20:14 (nineteen years ago)

didn't he find that lost ed wood soft-core film that just came out last year?

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Saturday, 13 May 2006 20:23 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, I have read it, though it's been a while. Extremely comprehensive and well-researched. The whole book is actually quotes from interviews. He did a ton of interviews.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Saturday, 13 May 2006 20:25 (nineteen years ago)

I mean to say that the whole text of the book is quotes from the interviews he did.

Sounds good. That's pretty much one of the few things I know about him (besides what's on the recs, of course). Really shadowy-mysterious figure although Mizutani is even moreso.

two years pass...

Still sorta wondering about this...where the hell is he? Shouldn't he be headlining the No Fun Fest by now???

sixteen years pass...

just weeding out records to sell, and i'm old and don't really have much time for the skronk on my life these days, so i pulled out Mask Of Light to playtest it and holy heck! this thing still packs a punch, albeit with a wildly flailing half-crazy windmilling sort of swing. well that's a keeper then, going to play it next time i need to know whether i'm still alive or not

Bernard Quidbins (NickB), Monday, 7 October 2024 20:08 (one year ago)

i need to hear that. i recently had a similar crisis of faith in the skronk so stuck on Red Transistor's "Not Bite" and had an epiphany! Have listened to it about 20 times since.

Mask of Light is so good, I also semi-recently played it and it was as good or better frankly I remembered, the Red Transistor single is the just about the best single ever
