John Peel show - Fall intros and outros

I have an 80mb mp3 of John Peel intros and outros to Fall tracks that I've linked from my (now unofficial) Fall site (http://www.visi.com/fall). Needless to say it's been a popular download, and the host it was on (fsphost.com) pulled it quickly. I've uploaded it to spread-it.com but the download rate is abysmal.

Can anyone recommend a site to host this mp3, with unlimited, fast downloads allowed? Yousendit and rapidshare are not options for me.

If you want to try downloading from spread-it.com, the link is http://tinyurl.com/mfnw4

Thanks,
Stefan

You mean clips of John Peel introducing Fall tracks? Why the fuck would anyone want that?

... I speak as a Fall fan and a John Peel fan

I'd have to listen to them before I could tell you.

To think I used to waste my time editing out John Peel's bits from tapes of Fall sessions! What a fool I was!

Agreed, Rotatey.

It's so we can intersperse it on our iPods in between the actual tracks in question from the box set.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:10 (twenty years ago)

But why would you want to do that?

Rotatey Diskers With Dadaismus (Dada), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:11 (twenty years ago)

I'm not saying *I'd* want to do that.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:12 (twenty years ago)

Phew, thank God for that!

Rotatey Diskers With Dadaismus (Dada), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:13 (twenty years ago)

Hey, if I made all the session tracks into MP3s towards making one handy disc, then I could intersperse these.

Oh, but it's only one ginormous mp3, oh no.

bollocks to it then.

If you're geeky enough to download you're geeky enough to edit it surely?

Rotatey Diskers With Dadaismus (Dada), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:17 (twenty years ago)

Timing.

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:36 (twenty years ago)

Anyroad, who says I can download? That spread-it got quarter way through and died.

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 24 February 2006 15:39 (twenty years ago)

Tell you what though, I tried it just now and it was dead whizzy: 10 minutes the lot.

But what's it like to have a fatwa placed upon you by Mark E. Smith, Stefan?

Aside from having to be a fucking idiot to want such an mp3, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might post one in the future? Spread-it is both temperamental and temporary. Surely someone here knows a better site?

I admit I tend to rely on YSI but you've ruled that out -- I'll check around.

If you like that and want to use it as a front cover for your lovely burnt CD (I know I do..),

Here's a larger one.

Boy, I hope the 'large image catcher' still works...

Howabout interspersing the Peter Criss comments between the fall tracks? That'd be easier.

Al came through with some space on his server. The mp3 is here: http://www.weirdenergy.com/fall/peel_fall-intros.mp3
