do you appreciate more - people who listen to "good" music (similiar to your taste), and less - people with bad taste in music?!(phil collins for example etc...)

a thread aka "i am a music snob".

I don't really care about their tastes, but I just could not call a friend someone who's a Nickelback fan. I guess we all have a limit.

One of my best friends is in a chugga chugga tough guy/emo/prog hardcore band. Thankfully he knows not to bring that wack shit round me and we listen to hip hop or dance music when we hang about together. If he only listened to that shit that would bother me.

My friend is crazy about punk. He doesn't quite understand the concept of POST-punk. He misses the whole point.

I have a friend who invited me to a gig by The Whitlams. Our friendship was on shaky ground after that.
If you're unaware of this band consider yourself very, very lucky.

I refuse to talk to anybody who doesn't like exactly the same things as me. aka "i am a music nob".

I had a friend who thought that Vintage Violence was better than Paris 1919 whereas I think Paris 1919 is a little better SO I KILLED HIM.

My brother listens to 2Pac, and while I'm a huge hip hop head, I think 2Pac is garbage.

In that picture, Phil looks like a cross between Tom Yorke and Kurt Cobain.
