They remind me a bit of Lenola

they're another Birmingham band aren't they. i have a 7" of theirs somewhere at home, kind of like Jameson meets Mogwai maybe?

Leicester. The guy who does our old studio was in them. Saw them once live and hated them, but he played us some works in progress and they were alright. He's not in them anymore, he's in some other band. He used to be in Volcano The Bear, too. Ah, local band incest, tra la la.

one month passes...
hello chaps,

this is paul from beatglider. you all seem to be struggling - so here's the story:

we had 2 singles out in '98 on tube bar records "not for you" (7"only) and "Premonition dragon" (7" and cds). we also did an album with tube bar which came out in '99 i think - called "40 days of summer" (cd only), all of these are pretty hard to get hold of now as they are out of stock at cargo distribution - so its second hand sections and record fairs only i'm afraid.

we left tube bar and have recently signed to a new label "lakota records" ( www.lakotarecords.com ) and are working on a new album for the summer. also check www.beatglider.com for updates. thanks for your interest.

oh and by the way, your all wrong - were from sunny southend in essex.

bah.

Really nice to see some interest in the band prior to an official release. The guys are moving towards completing theior first album for Lakota, which at this stage is sounding stunning. Gigs to follow and there may be opportunity this summer to watch them while sitting in a field

more questions email me
