I stole this from the www.obner.org board. This web site has a bunch of video from back in the day. Most video leave a lot of be desired but the music is great. I finally saw the Boo Radleys “Lazy Day” video so that made my day.

these used to be the highlight of 120 minutes. for me at least. like a daydream, deluxe, coast is clear, crimson, only shallow, pearl, black metallic, etc... i don't think i've ever seen a boo radleys video which is probably ok since they are so ugly.

I'd like to get my hands on as many Shoegaze videos as possible. I need to find a server loaded down with old 120 Minute videos.

Thanks for the vids link btw.

the only boos video i've seen is 'does this hurt' which is pretty good actually.

i used to think i liked shoegaze, but then i realized that i just like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive a lot.

I can watch Only Shallow looped forever. I think its cause of her (Belinda Butcher's) overbite, I'm not sure tho.

(If you promise to play those tomorrow, then you've tipped the balance in favour of my going to SC and not That Other Thing.)

highpriestofthesoniccathedral (highpriestofthesoniccathedral), Wednesday, 1 March 2006 15:00 (twenty years ago)

If you play the Spacemen 3 one, I'll be the happiest girl in the world. I hope it's as psychedelic and wonderful as the Spectrum video that you guys always used to play. I used to drift off in the middle of conversations when that one came on. :-)

it's a dvd with a live show and all the s3, spectrum and spiritualized videos on it.

highpriestofthesoniccathedral (highpriestofthesoniccathedral), Wednesday, 1 March 2006 15:27 (twenty years ago)

anyway, you must see the morning after girls - they're superb.

highpriestofthesoniccathedral (highpriestofthesoniccathedral), Wednesday, 1 March 2006 15:28 (twenty years ago)

I own the guitar that Sice is playing in that Boo Radleys video! One of my most prized possessions...

Ian Edmond (ianedmond), Wednesday, 1 March 2006 15:58 (twenty years ago)

So I've been told.

(But really, I will be hanging around, looking suspicious, trying to nick that S3 DVD. I'm assuming it's burned and not some actual product... since Spe and Spi are both on it and they'd never consent to that.)

A helpful friend is now burning me a copy! :-)

I'm very excited... (not having an interweb conection at home, I still don't understand the mysteries of torrents and things.)
