'rave' is what i put as the email subject, in capital letters and with exclamation marks after it, when i want to get my dancing crew out - anything and everything electro/minimal house. it may or may not technically be 'rave' music, but we rave to it nevertheless.

or it's the old-school proper rave music i listened to when i was 9, like altern8 and the prodigy and er 2 unlimited.

It's a curious idea, the post 2000 rave anthem. I think a lot of it depends on one's locale and subgenre of choice I'll admit that it's difficult to think of anything less than downright bangin' as an anthem, but I'd still rave to it nonetheless.
