No typo there, although I see from search results that they scarred a young Alex in NYC. (The difference between his taste and his sister's is another thread.)

I love "Movin'" and "Changin'." Who else is with me on these guys?

Brass Construction were formed on the East Coast of America in the 1970’s. Led by Randy Muller they mixed hard funk with Big Band Jazz and Caribbean beats to create much loved dancefloor tracks. In 1975 they signed to United Artists and released their debut album and from this, they released the first of their dancefloor anthems, Movin’ which topped the US R&B chart and was a top 20 hit. This was quickly follwed by Changin’, from the same album. Ha Cha Cha (Funktion) also included in this collection, was released in 1977 and achieved simlar commercial success. Later releases did not see the commercial success of the earlier singles but Brass Construction were a popular disco band with success on the dancefloors of the UK and America.

The 1st album is one of the greatest funk albums.

"Walkin' the Line" sounds a lot like the stuff Randy Muller did with Skyy.

There should be a reunion tour with Brass Construction and Mass Production.

Seek also the single "Get up to Get Down." Add Fatback Band to that reunion fest.
