Is giving a rembetiko anthology tape to a Greek prostitute a case of carrying coals to Newcastle? (She tells me that her Yugo husband walked out on her and her 10-year-old daughter, and he'd never bothered to get a job in the first place.)

And similarly, how about burning a Gnawa CD-R for the guys in the local Moroccan coffee shop (who btw listen to a lot of hiphop)?
