This Summer I was in Arequipa, Peru - listening in the dark, thinking about my little sister and really missing her - - when this John Mayer live song came on from a mix she had given to me a couple years ago. There's a break in the song and in a whisper voice he says, "this one's for Jeff". It was magical because 1) my name is Jeff, 2) I'd had the mix for 2 years without ever giving it a good listen, 3) the song ('Sucker'?) was real nice and sentimental, and 4) I knew she wanted me to hear it, and it came on and did the whispery voice in my ears at this moment I was missing her deeply.

oh my god. short story:
i got hit by a car while i was seeing aphex twin in rome.
i was a health tourist, and got my busted ass pelvis/jaw/arm fixed up.
now, im looking for a new jobby here.
