four years pass...

Fifteen dollars is hardly expensive, but I couldn't find a "Great Vinyl Finds" thread, and in 35 years of buying records, I rarely pay that much for anything--$10 or $12 is usually my ceiling. I got a basically mint copy of Columbia's Thesaurus of Classic Jazz at a flea market today, though, a four-LP box that came out in '61. Can't find a picture.

I'm pretty much the same.. 30 years of record buying, and spend most of my time digging in the bargain bins... Very occasionally splash out - i bought a copy of Viv Stanshall's Men Opening Umbrellas Ahead for 25 quid this summer - the most i've ever paid for a record.

I mostly just bide my time and pick up rare gems from the bins, like last week when I found a copy of the Glastonbury triple album from 1972 in a Church sale for 50 cents!
