I researching for Songs of Each Decade. 50's, 60's to NOW.
Can anyone suggest what they think is THE Song of a decade?

Well the 50's to the 80's is totally tricky for me to know what to answer with, but for the 90's I'd have to say the most obvious of obvious answers, which is, Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. I think I'm way too young for this one.

Well, Smells Like Teen Spirit is not my personal pick for song of the 90's, I don't know what is, I was just thinking in terms of impact, for instance, I wouldn't have chosen Love's The Red Telephone for the 60's (nothing against it, I like it actually), I don't know. For the 60's I think maybe The Beatle's I Want to Hold Your Hand...or Jimi Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner -I don't know, I wasn't alive!
