Yes! 'Slow Train Coming' is great uncut bile that Afrocentric rappers would be proud of, as well as his only 'musical' (i.e., produced and everything) album pre-'Oh Mercy'. Not that that makes it the only 'good' album of course, it's just an interesting coincidence. "When You Gonna Wake Up" puts the fear of God in me, so to speak.

Not terribly familiar with this period, but I've always been strangely fond of "Gotta Serve Somebody." Objectively, it seems like I should hate the song: musically it's slick, cold and artificial, lyrically it's smug and full of fake righteousness, Dylan's voice sounds especially nasty, and to top it off, it won a Grammy. So I really have no idea why I like it so much. Lennon's parody "Serve Yourself" is better, though.
