It's my favorite one by them, still.

― Zeno, Monday, 28 July 2008 14:13 (seventeen years ago)
I was just listening to this album this weekend! I like the Virgin Suicides OST more by a hair, but yeah - amazing stuff.
― Mordy, Monday, 28 July 2008 14:19 (seventeen years ago)
it makes me feel like i've been roofied by nanobots, in a really sweet and lovely way

i can't believe it's been almost a year since it came out
― s1ocki, Monday, 28 July 2008 15:53 (seventeen years ago)
almost a decade at this point
― Mordy, Monday, 28 July 2008 15:54 (seventeen years ago)
i hope they make an lp as 'interesting' as this again
― blueski, Monday, 28 July 2008 16:06 (seventeen years ago)
Yeah, this sounds better every year. I feel like we took experiments for granted around that time. I still hate "Vagabond".
― Mark Rich@rdson, Monday, 28 July 2008 23:45 (seventeen years ago)
Still my favorite.
― Capitaine Jay Vee, Tuesday, 29 July 2008 00:04 (seventeen years ago)
Ten years old! And still a complete classic. I know so many people who gave up on them after this album though.

10,000 Hz Legend, over 20 years later. I'm listening to the new remaster. I haven't A/B'd it with the original so I'm not sure if it's an improvement, but it sure sounds fantastic. Still my favorite Air and one of the most underrated albums ever. It's like a parade of weird, zany, brilliant ideas and imo almost all of them work. I wish they had gone further down this road rather than retreating to the Moon Safari space-age bachelor pad zone after this one, but it's understandable given how it was received at the time.

yeah, just by going by spotify play counts it's kind of amazing that 10k is barely listened to at all compared to moon safari! it's my favorite of theirs as well, although i was disappointed at the time

Yeah count me into the 'their best' club too
