They just keep appearing in the record store!
I've just been dropping whatever money I have on these right and left. Which ones am I missing?
I haven't picked up the Tall Dark and Handsome (anyone know anything about these guys?) or the Krown Rulers, who, apparantly have someone named Grand-Pubah, who is NOT the Grand Puba from Brand Nubian (who is the Grand Puba on the Masters Of Ceremony album, which is totally awesome and introduces the concept of being "redder," of which I am totally unfamiliar).
The JVC is a glorious lo-fi mess that Edan wishes he could capture, and Just Ice stuff is far heavier than I remember the few tracks I used to have on cassette back in the day. T La Rock has some skits on it (pre-3 Feet High, sucka!) that are completely insufferable. Stezo is fuckn' Stezo.
And if they're doing Fresh stuff, when do I get to see Cash Money And Marvelous's glorious return to in-print land (Sleeping Bag and Fresh were in kahoots, right?)

That Jazzy Jay album is year zero for DITC as you Diamond D's very first productions "i'm not playing" by Ultimate Force + "i'm the king" by Raheem on there. Strong City are finally gonna put out the unreleased Ultimate Force ep too
Tall, Dark And Handsome album isn't too good. Krown Rulers is cool. "Paper chase" off that is my shit.
Best album outta alla those you listed is definately "back to the old school". Just Ice turnin' up on Poet's block with a sawn-off shotty after he dissed the Bronx on them Rockwell Noel & Poet tracks sums up just how real most of them 80s dudes really were.

Hey, wasn't the very first Jungle Brothers record released on Warlock? Is that still in print, or reissued or whatevs?

Damn, I had no idea this stuff was getting reissued.
I sure am glad I'm employed again!

Yeah, there's a reissue of "straight out the jungle" with a couple of b sides like "the promo" and "sounds of safari" on there.
