I read this as Mark Chapman, which I then parsed as "Bands that would improve if they dropped the overt Beatles influence."

I think it would be intersting, though, to hear some of the In the Red bands given a glossy-glammy production. Particularly the Dirtbombs. But now that they've decided to become a guitar band, I think he could rescue
