"3 best friends that play music for 1/2 an hour."

Anyone else excited about the imminent release of the debut album from this magnificent Antipodean whirlwind of fun?

excellent debut EP - check
fantastic live shows - check
great new lead single - check

It's all there in spades, y'all. I for one can't wait. I fully expect this record to make my world a brighter, happier, sexier place (and it's about time too).

I saw the Grates a few weeks ago supporting the Go Team, and they were brilliant. I'd never heard of them before. Sukkafish is perhaps the catchiest song ever written

here's the video to "19 20 20"

Is this on the new album? I heard the album was produced by modest mouse producer Brian Deck. I have not heard "Gravity Won't Get You High" I've heard the EP, and thought it was outstanding.

tahnks for the link - awesome. '19-20-20' will indeed be on the album. tracklisting:

1. I Won't Survive
2. Lies Are Much More Fun
3. 19-20-20
4. Rock Boys
5. Howl
6. Trampoline
7. Science Is Golden
8. Feels Like Pain
9. Nothing Sir
10. Inside Outside
11. Sukkafish
12. Seek Me
13. Little People
14. I Am Siam

by the sound of the prodcion on the single, i'd guess 'Trampoline' and 'Sukkafish' have been re-recorded for the album.

that video is awesome! someone needs to get hold a higher quality version and stick it up there.

I saw the Grates a few weeks ago supporting the Go Team

i saw them support the Go! Team in Bristol, which was one hell of a one-two. it was so funny to see how everyone around us didn't know what had hit them, and the crowd was won over after about 30 secs of Patience leaping around like a nutcase.

i love this band

two years pass...

Saw these guys tear up the Hi Fi Bar in Melbourne last night. Singer Patience is still like an Energiser bunny on crack and the crowd was loving it. Highly entertaining and their BDO slot next year should be excellent.
