I think even Tom liked ( or at least didn't despise ) the opening tracks from OKC ("Airbag") and Kid A ("Everything In It's Right Place"), and now we have the real "Packt like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box" floating around the net. Any thoughts?

I do think Airbag is a great track. The stuff on Kid A I've rather cooled to now. I listen to The Bends occasionally, I must admit.

I've not heard the new one.

Kid A just gets better. And better. IMHO.

Now I must say that Dr. C and I are completely of the same mind about this. An album that already has a distinct...what is the word?...glow about it. Something where you know every note and yet always gets you just right. I think it's because it's a very warm listen, right from the opening notes.

I like Pablo Honey best.

Well, on first hearing Pyramid Song sounds rather nice. Not a typical 'single', the cheeky boys, i.e. it's going to bug me on the radio. The strings are cheesy but cheese is my favourite food right now. The faltering piano is sweet. Thom is, well, bearable.

The more I listen to _Kid A_, the more convinced I am that it's a brilliant album. "In Limbo" is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs, along with "Idioteque" and "Everything In Its Right Place".
