1.A preview of DJ Fergie at the Red Box in Dublin-Completely hate this dick, he plays hard house which I can't stand. Also he looks really smug and punchable and wears gold chains.

2. A preview of "rhythm corporation", a shite shite R and B night in a big violent disgusting club. I don't think I've ever been as harsh as I was in this preview, possibly because the mag it's for likes to be a bit controversial and I was playing up to that.

I'm usually too nice about people, but I did totally pan the Sophie Ellis Bextor album, a review which also contained the sentence "This is a case of art immitating shoes" of which I was proud.

"Feedback Is Payback" by 1028, an amazingly dire Epitaph punk act.

Something provoked loathing in me the other day -- but I seem to have happily blotted it from my memory...

Yeah I really used sectarian Northern Ireland references with Fergie, I thought of "military" rhythms and it all went from there.

Neil Schon, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony are forming a band.

I can't (drive 55) WAIT for that!

Why didn't they ask Tommy Shaw to join?

The Linda Perry/Christina Aguilera collaboration. Lesbian Stylist Rock Revolution Now!

And Dave Navarro's gonna be on the record, too! Unbelievable.

I didn't like Oasis's last album
