Early Wu demo tracks.

I found these neat early Wu-Tang demo tapes on the Wu's website (tracks 1-8). Some very interesting and historical stuff. An early Wu track ("Enter the Wu-Tang") has a beat that eventually became Gravediggaz "Diary of a Madman." "All About Me" is quite catchy too. Check it out, Wu fans.

Wow, GREAT find! Wish the quality was higher - but I doubt hi-fi versions of these even exist. Fascinating though...

oh man, biggie's verse on stop the breaks is so grimy, it gives me goosebumps every time.

While you're there, try 206. RZA: Freestyle (Future Flavorz) (2003) live on Hot 97

All the St. Ides spots are classic.

Geto Boys, "I sit alone in my four cornered room thinking of wing dings."

Ice Cube--"A sip of malt liquor makes your jimmy get thicker."

The live version on that page of "I Can't Go To Sleep" is fantastic - does anyone know where that's from? All the swears are taken out, so I'm guessing that it was from tv?
